On Saturday, 11 April 2026, the 47th edition of the Petr Petržela and Antonín Souček Memorial in gymnastics for younger boys took place in the sports hall of the primary school ZŠ 710 in Bučovice. DINA-HITEX once again had the opportunity to support this important sporting event and thus contribute to the development of gymnastics in our region.
The Memorial, bearing the names of two prominent figures of Bučovice sport, is among the longest-running gymnastics events in the Czech Republic. This year's edition also confirmed its high level and prestige. The organising club Sokol Bučovice prepared high-quality facilities for the young competitors and welcomed the rising gymnastics hopes from all over Moravia to Bučovice.
In the main individual competition, Robert Vala from Znojmo won, demonstrating the most consistent performances across all disciplines. Second place went to Mikuláš Hrozek, a Bučovice native training and competing for Sokol Brno I, and third place was secured by Matyáš Vrublovský from Šternberk.
In the team competition, Sokol Brno I dominated, with its Team A and Team B taking the first two places. The team of Sokol Šternberk finished third.
A very attractive part of the programme was the finals on individual apparatuses. Robert Vala once again confirmed his form in the floor exercise. Great applause from the home spectators went to Matyáš Kos from the organising Sokol Bučovice, who won an excellent 3rd place. Matyáš Vrublovský finished second. In the rings final, Matyáš Vrublovský won ahead of Robert Vala, while Mikuláš Hrozek took the bronze.
We are delighted that we could financially support an event that helps to develop gymnastics among children and youth, while creating a pleasant environment for competitors, coaches and spectators alike. We thank Sokol Bučovice for their sent acknowledgement and for their long-term organisation of this traditional sporting event.
